Smooth management change in sales at alfamedia

Peter Drinkguth, who as Chief Sales Officer contributed significantly to the success of alfamedia for many years, is now preparing for his well-deserved retirement. Looking back on four decades of professional success in the publishing industry, Peter Drinkguth is now transferring the management of the sales division on 1 December 2023 to Ronny Schröder, a dynamic and accomplished successor who will lead the alfamedia sales team into the future.

Over the past six months, Peter Drinkguth has worked closely with the sales team to ensure a careful transition of his responsibilities. Ronny Schröder’s agenda as the new Chief Sales Officer at alfamedia is ambitious and reflects his endeavours to promote sustainable growth and innovation. His focus is on increasing the efficiency of internal processes and intensifying cooperation between sales, product development and marketing. He plans to further develop the sales team in order to strengthen active sales and reduce administrative costs.

In his strategic reorganisation, Schröder is focusing on a SaaS business model in order to secure regular income. In addition, his initiative to deepen and reorient partnerships with key players such as HubSpot, Aptoma, Sophi and HUP is intended to expand the product range and increase alfamedia’s market presence. At the same time, he will focus on the core portfolio, in particular on the tried-and-tested products and services of alfamedia and fidion, in order to consolidate and expand them.
