Change in management at alfa Media

alfa Media Partner GmbH is reorganising its management. As of 1 December 2021, Mr Michael Marcks will take over from Jens Emmerich as Managing Director.

Michael Marcks studied business informatics and media management. He started his career as a software developer and soon after moved into project management. He also worked as a freelancer for project management and consulting. He joined alfa Media as a consultant and project manager for major international projects already in 2000. Since 2008, he has held various positions at alfa Media – from senior consultant to product manager. From 2011 onwards, he was responsible for the overall management of the areas of consulting, project management and application support. He then took over full product responsibility for our applications and finally became CCO and authorised signatory in 2019.

In his function as Managing Director of alfa Media, he is responsible for all matters concerning the company. “I am really looking forward to this new challenge and the chance to shape a successful future,” says Michael Marcks.
