With immediate effect and retroactive to 1 January 2023, alfa Media Holding has acquired a majority stake in the company fidion GmbH. With the acquisition of fidion GmbH, the holding company has expanded the portfolio of its subsidiaries. alfa Media Partner, one of the leading software providers for the media industry, now has a competent partner at its side in the Franconian software company fidion, which has been reliably and innovatively covering the area of web publishing for the past 21 years. The primary goal here is not only to develop innovative and well thought-out products, but also to always present the customer with the best possible solution in each case, and thus to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. The focus is on reliable and high-quality solutions and functions.

The company fidion will continue to exist independently as a sister of alfa Media Partner and will thus continue to serve all its customers in the same proven quality. The products perfectly complement the portfolio of alfa Media Partner and can thus offer their customers even faster valuable benefits with the bundling of their strengths and know-how.

Gerhard Schneider will continue as managing director of fidion GmbH and will be supported by Michael Marcks as second managing director. There will be no changes in the management of alfa Media.
