SmartDock

alfa SmartDock is designed in such a way that the use of container technology accelerates installations and update processes, eliminates sources of error and thus simplifies the operation of software server components and makes them less prone to failure.

The other advantages of alfa SmartDock and containers are above all the economical use of resources and the complete encapsulation of application environments. By delivering complete images of application software modules, it is impossible for certain resources to be missing or obsolete. A corresponding alfa software image always contains all components that belong to this software.

alfa SmartDock comes as a VMware image with a complete operating system environment: including the corresponding container technology components. These are already pre-configured and come with special utilities to easily and quickly commission and manage the new container images of the alfa software server components.
