Security notice regarding “PHP2Shell”: Our products are not affected!

Since the critical PHP security vulnerabilities known as “PHP2Shell” were disclosed on 21 October 2026, many of you have asked us whether our products are also affected. We would like to thank you sincerely for this. We greatly appreciate that you take security matters seriously and approach us directly, as this is exactly how it should be.

The good news: our products and software do not use PHP. The vulnerabilities lie within the PHP runtime environment itself. Our solutions are therefore not affected, and no action is required on your part with regard to our products.

The portals operated by our sister company fidion are based on PHP. fidion installed the security updates on all of its servers within 20 minutes on the very day they were released, 21 October 2026. These portals are therefore no longer affected by the vulnerability.
