For night owls and early birds – RNZ live with NewsApp and NewsAppS
Dynamic content for tablets and smartphones: that’s exactly what alfa Media delivers with NewsApp and NewsAppS. Your content is made available to the target audience promptly, regardless of location and on different platforms.
The Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung has therefore been using this concept since the end of September. Behind the app “RNZ E-Paper” lies alfa NewsApp, which reliably provides the reader with the latest edition of the RNZ and thus with all news from the region, Germany and the world. The new app already scores well with RNZ customers thanks to its tile look, bookmarking and article-sending functions and read-aloud option. In addition, digital customers now also have access to all supplements and brochures of the newspaper: the full-fledged newspaper experience can now be experienced in the app.
The previous evening edition is also well received; users are informed immediately if there is any news via a push notification. If desired, the current issue can be made available fully automatically. As an alternative to the usual newspaper format, the news can also be displayed in the new article view. In addition, the alfa NewsApp can be enriched with multimedia offers that further enhance the e-paper; whether picture galleries, long versions or comments.
In addition, the new “RNZ-Live” has also been available for download since September. It is based on alfa NewsAppS, the news ticker app that feeds the latest breaking news and RSS feeds. Optimized for mobile devices, iOS 12 and higher can be used to specifically select the sections and topics that the customer prefers. The top topics are thus tailored precisely to the wishes and needs of the reader.
The conversion to alfa NewsApp and NewsAppS meets the expectations of our customers; modern design with sophisticated functions and more reading comfort is the positive feedback we receive.
